Our family is very satisfied with the level of care she receives and are glad we made the decision to move her here. The Hopkins Center for Rehabilitation offers individual Nurse Practitioner services, partnered with Optum which provides aother level of specialized care for its patients. I particularly like that the facility has doctors on call 24/7 from 8:00 a.m. to 12 midnight. This fact alone is very comforting and reassuring.
The staff at Hopkins are exemplary. They are caring, polite, answer questions and are extremely responsive to patients and their families. I must commend Daiva Brito, the social worker assigned to my mom who is the perfect advocate for patients. She has resolved many issues on behalf of my mom, cheerfully and professionally. Daiva always returns calls, emails and texts promptly. No need to keep calling, she's on it! Kudos to Jenn Lombardo in Recreation who makes certain her patients continue to receive quality of life services - Mom is always happy that her personal well being and grooming needs are addressed. Ms. Wadley, the 5th floor nurse is wonderful. The former floor nurse Lindy Marrain was also very competent, made my Mom laugh and great with our family. I wish she could be back on the floor! I highly praise Marilyn Morales, who works behind the scenes with all of the Medicaid and financial stuff. She should be commended for her good communication and personal skills. She is a doll! Lastly, but not least, we are particulary grateful that Melanie Sylvester, my Mom's nurse practioner is back!!! The comfort care she provides is wonderful and truly make a difference in my mom's daily well being. Thank you all for your care, responsiveness and quality services you provide. We appreciate you!
